Organization & Business Development Training

M.E.T. Inc.’s Organization & Business Development Training teaches trainees the basics of developing and effectively managing new or existing organizations and businesses. In this instructor led training series, participants will learn the value of and success formula for creating vision and mission statements and designing effective programs by focusing on at least two key components: the needs and expectations of the customer or end user and the core competencies of the business or organization that will contribute to its growth and sustainability. 

Learning how to combine these two key components will be the focus of this instructor led training that will equip trainees to go back to their businesses and organizations and be more effective in setting and achieving realistic and strategic business imperatives. Key to establishing an attainable vision and mission is properly setting goals and having appropriate measurement and evaluation strategies in place. Participants will work with current data and daily realities to write specific vision, mission and goals, and evaluation plans that can be taken back to the business or organization immediately following training, with a high

probability of success. Participants will also learn how to identify key contributors to the success and attainment of a vision, mission, gals and objectives and learn practical communication and assessment strategies that will insure that contributors become enrolled in the vision, mission, and goals. Interactive learning will include listening, feedback, non-verbal and verbal communication, along with management, marketing, and money management training. 

 

This instructor led training series is designed to teach participants skills for effective organizing, planning, coordination, reporting, budgeting, and listening, It will also help individuals examine the extent to which they practice behaviors that contribute to or reduce organization development breakdown and create corrective action plan. In addition, a 30-item inventory will identify strengths and opportunities for effective listening. The combination of learning to manage with intent through properly setting and communicating vision, mission and goals and appreciating the value of effective communications will produce in each trainee a new or refined skill sets that will lead to more effective businesses and organizational outcomes.
